Newsy.com: A Fun and Good News Source

Newsy.com is a pretty interesting website. I find it cool that I can go on there and for free have unlimited options to news stories from around the world. For example, I was doing research on a story about Mark Zuckerberg and the corruption with Facebook, when I get intrigued by a side bar consisting of a news story about Chinese politics and kidnappings in Mexico. One of the news stories that stood out to me was a story about the citizens of Kansas City, Missouri are re-instating the original street name “The Paseo” from “Martin Luther King.” Originally, the street was named “The Paseo,” and it was changed by the Mayor for no particular reason as they are told. The street was very important to the residents living on it, so the change was quite jarring. They have started to create a vote to get the original name back. This is just one story from the potential thousands you can find on Newsy.com. It is a very good site to find local to international news for free on a daily bases.
